I promised pasta sauce. Makes enough for 4 hungry people. I don’t actually have a written recipe for this. Assume all items to be chopped.
2 cloves garlic
1 440g (or whatever the standard is) can of chopped tomatoes.
2 tablespoons of tomato paste, or one of those small containers you can get.
2 chopped tomatoes
Herbs – Especially fresh ones:
Adding vegetables! Any or all of:
1 red capsicum
200g chopped mushrooms
½ cup frozen peas
2 small zucchini
Chillies – fresh or dried
Chopped carrots – not so great but ok if that’s what you have.
Other options, drained first:
2 small cans of tuna
1 can red kidney beans
1 can lentils
Cook the whole lot for 25-30minutes.
Put over pasta, with parmesan cheese.
